Mississippi Parents for Vaccine Rights (MPVR) Biography
Con to the question "Should Any Vaccines Be Required for Children?"
"Vaccination is a one-size-fits-all government program that has grown out of control. Our children receive 49 doses of 15 vaccines before kindergarten! Children received just 10-12 vaccines during a lifetime in the 1980s. The current vaccine schedule has never once been tested as it is administered to our children... Bureaucrats at the Health Department do no know our children, have never seen our children, yet have tyrannical power over their care regarding vaccines... We are not asking the state to decide if shots are good or bad or safe or unsafe. We are asking those of you who represent the people of Mississippi to restore our fundamental parental right to make medical decisions for our own children."

"We are a group of loving parents who are pushing for the right to make vaccine decisions for our own children without losing their right to an education.
We are not "anti-vaccine"; we are "pro informed consent" and "pro parental rights" to choose what medical procedures our children undergo and when.
Some of us have children who are fully vaccinated, others choose selective and/or delay vaccinations, while others have declined all vaccinations for their children. ALL of our decisions have been made in the best interest of our children.
We support the right of parents to choose their child's medical care, without being forced or coerced into accepting vaccinations in order to attend day care or public or private schools."
"Mississippi Parents for Vaccine Rights (MPVR) champions state and federal laws that advocate the basic human right of parents to be the final authority in their children's healthcare, particularly vaccinations. In a climate of increasing government control over healthcare, we are focused on defending the freedom of informed voluntary consent for all."
